Client research

Starting a new project now, I am having to work towards a product relating to the brief, Culture of the Digital Age. As for the client that has been assigned, the BBC. Going more specific, the outcome will be going towards the BBC Three.

Before anything else, research had gone into the client itself, everything interesting I could find was all wrote down in a word document to help prove my understanding of what the BBC would be after for an outcome.


Once that was out of the way, I moved onto digging more into the BBC Three alone helping to get more specific with what my project needed to work towards.

Audience research

 Needing to find and know my target audience, a survey was created and sent around to people I knew that are within the age group I need to work towards attracting. That way with the survey, it helps to specify the interest and knowledge as such, helping me create an outcome they would be more happy with. As well, with me doing a documentary, if something in particular gets brought up and needs backing up, depending on what it is this survey works for that.  For this, I have had to dig around and research plenty of digital equipment that can be used for filming.
